Calgary Fee Schedule 2009-2010
- Level 1 : Introductory class. Individual has never fenced before. Ages 9 -13yrs.
Musketeer Beginners : introductory class for children age 6-8yrs old. Beginner Level 1 Teen/Adult class is geared for individuals that have never fenced before ages 13 - 99 yrs old
- Level 2 : Individual has completed Level 1. Recreational participation, eligible to compete in Gladiators club competitions (in house). Shorter season allows individual to participate in other activities outside of fencing.
- Level 3 : Individual has completed Level 1 and is over the age of 13. Primarily a recreational level but if desired individuals can compete at the Provincial level. Individuals may also participate in the Club tournaments. Shorter season permits fencer to participate in other activities outside of fencing.
- Competitive Groups : Fencing is the primary sport. Competing in all Provincial competitions as well as National and Regional events. By coach recommendation only.
- Open Training: Open to experienced fencers, no instruction during this time.

Please note that the $25 membership fee includes the Gladiators Fencing Club membership along with the Alberta Fencing Association membership which is required for all individuals fencing in Alberta. This membership is valid for one year commencing each September.
Competitive fencers must renew their AFA and CFF licenses with the AFA each year, please renew directly with the AFA. The $25 Gladiators Membership fee is due at the time of registration.
* Beginners are provided with mask and glove rental, this fee is included in the program fee. Level 2 and Level 3 fencers are expected to have their own glove and mask. These items may be purchased through our club. Rental of glove and masks are not provided beyond level 1 beginners. All other equipment will be provided to Level 2 and Level 3 fencers, however, we do encourage the purchase of a weapon after a complete season of fencing in Level 2 or Level 3.
